The Child in World Cinema Conference at the University of Texas at San Antonio that will take place Sept. 25-27, 2009. Calling for 20 minute papers (reading time) with 5 minutes extra for clips.

We found the two-papers-per-hour format (with time for discussion) worked extremely well last year and will keep that format. Papers will generally be grouped according to language or theme. I shall probably schedule three to four scholarly simultaneous sessions per hour by language or country. All venues are audio-visual/internet equipped.

Feel free to propose a panel on a specific topic within the theme of the conference. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Please send your abstract in English (Spanish or Portuguese) even if you plan on reading in another language.
