REDCATSUR es una red de artistas, científicos, ingenieros, teóricos e instituciones que promueven la comunicación y la colaboración sobre la convergencia entre arte, ciencia y tecnología en América Latina.

REDCATSUR se abre como un espacio para el análisis y el debate en lo que hace a la intersección entre arte, ciencia y tecnología en América Latina, así como una red de intercambio de información sobre proyectos, eventos, obras, programas e iniciativas. REDCATSUR no tiene la intención de duplicar otros esfuerzos en este campo. REDCATSUR se propone como ámbito para la discusión y la colaboración, más que para la publicación de información. La creación de REDCATSUR busca abrir vías para facilitar la cooperación dentro de América Latina, pero está abierta a individuos y organizaciones de todo el mundo.
