The Film & Electronic Arts Program at Bard College is searching to fill an open rank visiting professor position, beginning August 2011 for a filmmaker/media artist to teach writing for film, with a broad and inclusive approach, which may include: scriptwriting, research, dialogue, storytelling, documentary and/or essay forms. This curriculum will be integrated into our Program of film and video production and the history of film. Candidates will have a strong exhibition record, college-level teaching experience and be conversant with contemporary discourses. A commitment to teaching undergrads in a liberal arts context and active participation in programmatic duties is a must.
