Correspondents in Lima for Latinamerican Press
Latinamerica Press, a non-profit, independent news journal based Lima, Peru, is
seeking correspondents in Latin America and the Caribbean. We specialize in
first-hand reporting and analysis on Latin American and Caribbean current events
through our network of correspondents in the region, with a focus on marginalized
populations.
We are currently looking for energetic, free-thinking correspondents to contribute
to our coverage. Applicants must have a focus on social justice and human rights in
Latin America and the Caribbean. Some topics include:
* Economic and socio-economic affairs
* Political analysis
* Sustainable development
* Indigenous peoples
* Women and gender issues
* Children’s issues
* Extractive industries’ impact on the environnment and surrounding communities
* Social movements (union, campesino, religious)
* Cultural trends

We cannot pay at this time for articles, but your story (and photos) will be
published on our website and as a PDF.
Reporting must be first-hand, reported from the country involved in the story.
Stories are reported in journalist’s native language (either Spanish, Portuguese or
English).
