Tools to Share Large Files Online

Submitted by Patricia Martin on 13 September 2009 No Comment

TechCrunch, the popular technology blog, just published a survey and matrix on some online apps to share large files. Tech Soup had a forum thread on a similar topic a few weeks ago, and as the responses in the blog post and forum thread suggest, there is no clear “winner” in this field, and the best tool for you will depend on your organization’s needs.

Given the fact that if files sent online may not be very secure and that many online services only provide temporary solutions, let us not forget old-fashioned methods like sending an encrypted DVD or flash drive using a delivery service, with verified delivery and signature acceptance.
