Submitted by Patricia Martin on 15 December 2010 No Comment

With thousands of film festivals in the world competing for public and media attention, it is vital for each event to foster a distinct identity. This workshop will help participants to focus on each event’s comparative advantages, strengthen programming and develop strategies to realize the event’s full potential.

Topics to be addressed include: strategic planning, opertations, programming, industry relations, sponsorship & marekting, hospitality and press, panel, juries and community outreach, etc.

This workshop is part of Cuba’s Escuela International de Cine y TV official International workshop calendar.

Patricia Martin has been teaching this course in Cuba every November since 2009.
