Founded in 1995, the Project Pro@rte (now Intermedi@rte) became the top source for Latin film and digital media artists seeking artistic and professional opportunities and resources. With more than a quarter of a million pageviews since the creation of the portal 2 years ago, and more than 9000 subscribers of the weekly newsletter, we have helped consolidate partnerships and connections between world-class and DIY creative enterprises around the world.

Intermedi@rte audience is a mixture of highly motivated artists and professionals from a variety of national and disciplinary backgrounds including filmmakers, journalists, activists, cultural practitioners, visual artists, writers, poets, scholars and journalists. Roughly almost a quarter of our readership is based in Spain, followed closely by Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Brazil.

Intermedi@rte is now available in English and Portuguese, to target a more global readership base. We are also popular with bloggers, Twitter and Facebook users — an increasingly influential demographic.
