The residency is open to all individuals or artists’ collectives wishing to develop their practice in a professional context by creating new work. Applicants are free to choose their means of artistic expression but must give documented proof of at least three years’ work and exhibition practice and not be older than 40 years. In order to facilitate communication with the local scene, participants should be fluent in either English, French or German.

Since 1982, Atlantic Center’s residency program has provided artists from all artistic disciplines with spaces to live, work, and collaborate during three-week residencies. Each residency session includes three master artists of different disciplines. The master artists each personally select a group of associates – talented, emerging and midcareer artists – through an application process administered by ACA.

Dentro de las novedades se encuentran las pasantías nacionales en fotografía, vestuario y gastronomía, los estímulos para apoyar nuevos contenidos de televisión infantil, y las investigaciones sobre conocimientos tradicionales aplicados a la conservación, manejo y uso sostenible de la naturaleza y la biodiversidad.

THE MFA CREATIVE PRACTICE is geared towards the development of a sustainable artistic praxis rather than training in certain media or genres, challenging students to think conceptually and work creatively in new ways. Current students work with animation, curating, digital media, film, gaming, graphic design, installation, painting, performance, photography, robotics, sculpture, sound, text, video, virtual reality.

En el centro histórico de la ciudad de Lima, capital del Perú, Escuelab ofrece un programa orientado a jóvenes artistas, creadores y activistas de América Latina, con énfasis en la región Andina, Centro América y el Caribe. El programa acoge anualmente hasta diez participantes, que acceden a la condición de becarios y pueden residir en Escuelab – Lima Centro por un periodo de 11 meses, con el objetivo de recibir una formación de características interdisciplinares y con posibilidad de desarrollar un proyecto propio.

Las residencias, podrán realizarse en las disciplinas de Artes Visuales (pintura, cerámica, escultura, instalación, fotografía, medios alternativos, gráfica); Danza (coreografía); Letras (poesía, novela, cuento y ensayo literario); Medios Audiovisuales (cine, video, guión cinematográfico, multimedia y arte digital); Música (composición); y Teatro (dramaturgia y adaptación de texto para puesta en escena).

Diversity, quality, internationality and multilingualism – literally and figuratively – mark the intensive working atmosphere of the Summer Academy in Salzburg/Austria, which combines art production, discourse and presentation. Individual support for the development of each student is just as important as cooperation within the group.

Thematic Residencies and Self-directed residencies are self-guided opportunities where the artist is free to experiment and explore new directions in the production of their work.
