  • Dear Concerned Professor/ Officer
Sub: For Joining into the visual Artist program (Residency)/ research.
Basically I am an artist- painter obtained Bachelor of Fine Art, M.A. in Fine arts and Ph .D. in Traditional Folk Art. The area of my research field is Traditional Artifacts its relevant archaeological, historical and ethnological findings and cultural & social background.
It is learnt from different sources that whole Canada has rich heritage in its glorious tradition in its arts & culture both traditional and contemporary arts and culture.
I am a regular practicing Artist- Painter/ researcher, would like to join in Visual Art program to work on Creative painting especially in blending Nature-quality viz. the style of school of Bengal art will mix up with the trends of contemporary school/ folk traditional style of your state- country which may come out in light in a new horizon of art style in blending nature. I am optimistic that by this the artists, teachers and all concerned will be significantly benefited from its findings.
Besides this, I am also interested to work with artists to learn the method, technique and the style of the school of your country’s art by which the artists of our country also will be significantly benefited that I hoped and optimized.
Work will be done in different style also. Wish to undertake research too on pottery/ wood carving art work of the indigenous people of your country ( Native Canadians (if it is possible).
I wish to give classes to the students of concerning dept. to teach the style, method of the Bengol-school of Art which is noteworthy.
It may be mentioned that our govt. is not in a position to sponsor me to such a study & work due to financial constraints.
Hence, I would be grateful to you if you kindly make arrangement for such program for me with support-awarding grant/ fellowships. Thanking you with immense respect. Sincerely yours,
